This policy explains what information Silicon Key collects through our website and services, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to siliconkey.io, our public landing pages, contact and project inquiry forms, scheduling links, and the private Pulse portal. It does not replace the privacy terms in a signed client agreement or statement of work.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Contact and project information: name, business name, email address, phone number, your message, the problem or vision you describe, preferred service, and approximate timeline.
- Technical and campaign information: IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages and interactions, UTM parameters, and anonymous visitor or session identifiers.
- Scheduling information: information you provide when booking a meeting through Calendly.
- Account information: authentication and session information for authorized users of private areas such as Pulse.
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the site, and limited information from service providers that help us operate it.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and understand the business outcome you want to achieve.
- Schedule meetings, prepare proposals, and provide requested services.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and systems.
- Measure campaign and landing-page performance, including comparing ad variants.
- Detect spam, fraud, abuse, and other security threats.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect our rights and users.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Service Providers and Disclosures
We use vendors that process information on our behalf, including Supabase for database, authentication, and realtime features; Vercel for hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring; and Calendly for meeting scheduling. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety and rights of Silicon Key or others, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets. We do not give service providers permission to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The site may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, remembering anonymous referral information, and measuring site performance. You can clear or restrict these technologies through your browser, although private account features may not work correctly without essential storage.
6. Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including responding to an inquiry, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and relationship.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may also decline to provide optional information, clear browser storage, or use available browser privacy controls.

8. Children and International Use
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Silicon Key operates from the United States. If you access the site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
9. Changes and Contact
